I'm Ryan. I'm an undergraduate student in Computer Science at IME-USP

I like computer stuff :) but mainly distributed systems, webdev and systems engineering. I'm also interested in data engineering and AI/ML.

I also like sea lions.

$ stuff i currently work on

• FAPESP Undergraduate Research: Working with graduate students under the guidance of Paulo Meirelles to provide a Continuous Integration platform for Kernel Development, using CI-tron.
• USPCodeLab projects director: Together with Rafael and Kaiky, I'm one of the directors of USPCodeLab, a software engineering extension group at IME-USP. I lead the dev.boost() initiative, an incubator for new software projects at USP.
• SymComp technical director: Responsible for leading SymComp's website development, as well as providing technical infrastructure for the Semana da Computação annual event.
• WebMAC: A workshop given throughout 10 classes for MAC0350 course.

This website is hugely inspired by Hugo and BearCub, although I was not willing to study it's usage. So I tried to vibecode a static website generator in Go, tailored to my needs. You can check out the repository here.

In short, I use .md files to generate blog posts, project cards, and this home page. I also use HTMX for AJAX, CSS Transitions directly in HTML.
